What is Text to List?
Turns delimited text such as "apple, banana, cherry" into a list with one item per line. You choose the separator, can trim spaces, remove empty and duplicate items, and optionally prefix each item with a dash, bullet, asterisk or number.
How to use Text to List

When to use Text to List
Use it to turn tag lists, CSV cells, keyword strings or e-mail recipient fields into a readable list. It does not understand CSV quoting, so a quoted value that contains the separator ("Smith, John") is split; use a CSV tool for real CSV files.
How Text to List works
The input is split on the chosen separator – comma, semicolon, runs of spaces, tab, pipe, line breaks or a custom string (\n and \t are recognised in custom separators). Existing line breaks always separate items too. Items are trimmed and empty items dropped (both on by default); "Remove duplicates" keeps the first occurrence. Finally the selected prefix is added; numbered lists use 1., 2., 3.

How do I go back from a list to comma-separated text?

Yes. Choose Custom text and type the separator exactly, including spaces.

No, the text of each item is kept as it is apart from trimming spaces.
