Uppercase Converter
Convert text to UPPERCASE instantly with Unicode rules (ß becomes SS, accents kept). Spaces, punctuation and line breaks remain unchanged. Free, in-browser.
Example: Hello World → HELLO WORLD
Each line is converted separately. Words are split at spaces, punctuation, _ - . / and camelCase boundaries; acronyms such as XML stay together and digits stay attached to the previous word.

When to use UPPERCASE
Use it for headings in all caps, codes and identifiers that must be uppercase, or acronyms. For constants with underscores use CONSTANT_CASE. Long text in all caps is harder to read, so use it sparingly.
How UPPERCASE works
The text is converted with JavaScript's String.prototype.toUpperCase(), which applies the Unicode default case mapping. Some characters expand: German ß becomes SS, so the output can be longer than the input. Locale-specific rules (such as Turkish i → İ) are not applied.
Common Use Cases
- Formatting headings or labels in capitals
- Normalising product codes and serial numbers
- Preparing text for systems that require uppercase
- Writing acronyms consistently
Security Note
Everything runs locally in your browser; the code you paste is not uploaded.
